We are passionate about creating a safe, fun, and joyful environment where your child can grow in their faith through age appropriate, Bible-saturated ministry.
Nursery
Our nursery is staffed with wonderful volunteers who are ready to care for and watch your little ones so you can attend the worship service. Our nursery is for birth through 2 years old. We also provide a space for nursing moms.
Toddler-4th Grade
Passionate, well-equipped volunteers teach our kids the Scriptures at an age-appropriate level through the Gospel Project curriculum.

What is the goal of Cornerstone Kids?
Our goal is to faithfully share the gospel with your children, as we explore the narrative of scripture. We believe that God intends parents to bring up their children “in the discipline and instruction of the Lord.” Our children’s ministry is a supplement to this important endeavor, not a substitute.
Who will be taking care of my child?
Some of our wonderful volunteers! They have been background checked and receive training through Ministry Safe before working with your children. In addition these volunteers utilize our tag system, and have been trained in our emergency protocol. Equipped and passionate, our volunteers are excited to help your kids learn more about Jesus and living according to God’s Word.
Will my child have fun?
The Bible is not boring, and neither is Cornerstone Kids! Each class will be led through times of music, games, Bible stories, and illustrations with practical applications for children. Our prayer is that your kids will leave with new friends, good role models, and a love for the Lord.
Staff Associated with Kids
Brittany Atwell
Brittany has been the Children’s Ministry Director since 2018. She holds a master’s degree in education and has spent her career helping children learn, grow, and discover who God created them to be. She loves working with kids and finds nothing more rewarding than seeing their faith take root and watch them experience the joy of Jesus in their everyday lives. Brittany is married to Bryan and they have been attending Cornerstone since it started when they were teenagers. Together with their three daughters, Tinley, Haylie, and Skylar, they love being a part of a church family that points children to Jesus.
Nina Fay
Nina is the Children’s Ministry Assistant. A Registered Nurse by profession, Nina has extensive experience with children including working as a nanny, camp counselor, and serving on the staff or as a volunteer at every church she has attended since the age of 12. She loves getting to connect with families and help facilitate meaningful connections between church members through her role as Children’s Ministry Assistant. Nina is married to her high school sweetheart, Cole, and together they are raising two rowdy boys, James and Isaac.
