A Place for Moms to Share in the Triumphs and Trials of Motherhood.

The Moms Corner is a support group for moms of littles (expecting – 5 years) who live in Baltimore, Cecil & Harford County, Maryland. At the Moms Corner, we want to grow in community as we struggle together and encourage each other in the everyday mom stuff.

We will meet the first Monday of each month at Cornerstone Community Church, in Joppa MD, to focus on a big topic. Some topics we plan to cover include mental health – including postpartum anxiety and depression, how marriage changes after kids, self-care, discipline, the birth experience, feeding choices, sleep, fertility management, work/life/mom-life balance and more. This large meeting will take different forms based on the topic at hand. We plan to rotate between group discussions, Q&A panels with experienced moms, and bringing in experts who can provide education and training in their field of interest (such as car seat safety or breastfeeding). For these meetings, we will have light refreshments… and of course coffee!

The rest of the month, we will be hosting low key play dates and get togethers to get to know each other better and raise our littles in community.
